The Nutcracker

The girls decided to go to the nutcracker this year because the girls are getting big enough. We went to dinner first at the Coppermill and had the girls be on there best manners. They did awesome. Then we went to the Nutcracker at Ellen Eccles here in Logan. They had fun and after we met some of the actresses.

This is Clara the main character. The girls said she was a lot taller than she was on stage.

This is of course the Sugar Plum Fairy. They also got her to sign their programs. By the end of the ballet Faith was tired. She did really well and wants to go again. Maybe we will make this a tradition.

Time Out For Women

Angie and I went to Time Out for Women in SLC. We got some pics with some of the speakers. Ang was reluctant to go and talk to them but we got her to go.
This one is with Heidi Swinton. She wrote the new biography of Pres. Monson.
Here we are with Virginia Pearce Hinckley. Pres. Hinckley's daughter and my mother is in the picture also.
This one is with Sheri Dew. We had a blast and was a good break and spiritual filler for the next few months. We loved it.

Faith's Tumbling

Faith took tumbling this fall instead of dance to see what she liked better.
She did pretty well and loved it.

Halloween 2010

Faith and Jonah are out trick or treating. They look so cute.
We bought Jonah's costume but I made Faith's costume. They both look great. It was to bad that the weather was horrible and we got soaked from the rain.

Grandma's Spudnuts

I went down to my Grandma Johnson's and learned to make her homemade spudnuts.
I met my friend Angie there and were taught from scratch to make them. Here are the steps in which they were done. They turned out amazing. Thanks Grandma for your time. We had a blast learning something new.

Faith's First Day at Preschool

Faith had her first day at preschool. She is getting to big way to fast to go to school.

Ferron Reunion

Here is our cute Ferron group that go every year to get a break from the world.
Now maybe we won't have other people bringing dates. Because now the two singles are dating each other. Maybe something good will come out of it.

County Fair

Faith riding the rides at the county fair.

Redone Chair for upcoming Craft room

Here is the chairs that I got at a garage sale for $1.00. Awesome!
Wait till you see what it looks like when I get done with it.
TA - DA. Looks Fabulous.

Mandi's Birthday and glow sticks

While at the cabin I brought a package of glow sticks of 100.
The girls had a blast along with the adults taking photos and playing.
We turned all the lights off and had a dance.
Of course that same time was my birthday. The boys had to go check on a job and came back with cake and balloons and sweet to remember right.

Johnson Cabin at Palisade Lake

We went to the cabin with some good friends. All the sunflowers were out so of course we needed a picture who could resist.
Jonah on the side of the Lake throwing rocks into the water.
Faith and Hadley her friend sitting on Lovers bench above the Lake.
We had a blast and want to keep going there yearly.

Fourth of July

Jonah and Greg and the Hyrum Parade for the fourth of July.
It was a long parade.
Here the three of us went to the Logan Fireworks while Jonah stayed at Grandma's.
We were questionable if Faith would be scared but she loved them.

Faith's Swimming Lessons

This us Faith's second year in swimming lessons.
She is doing lots better with water and yes is jumping off the diving board.

Memorial Day

Greg and Faith are at Theron Archibald's grave (Greg's father). We were there with Greg's family to remember his dad and talked of the memories that the family had of him. He past when he was 47. Greg was only 9 years old. We had a great time and had some good stories of Theron.

Faith's Birthday

Faith on her 4th birthday. Time goes by way to fast. When she was only born not to long ago.
Little Critters she loves. And of course her Princess Birthday cake. For our little princess.

Faith's Ballet

Faith in her dance recital outfit. They danced to the Tiki Hut song. It was darling.

Faith is holding her flowers that her Dad and Aunt Holli gave her after the recital.
Here is a picture of Faith and her cousins Abbi, Anika and Faith.

Jonah's 1st Birthday

This is Jonah's 1st birthday. I know you all think what this is about 6 months ago and yes it is but here they are anyways.
This is his cake I made for him. Jonah and the whale. I did it because it represents so much. He over came a whale of a year. Yah! for Jonah.

I Got Lost

I have been totally lost in LIFE. Does anyone else do the same. Here are some things that have been going on in our lives lately. I will post pictures later but thought I could at least put an update on.
1. CHILDREN/NO NAPS ( isn't that how it works your time if no naps is non existent.)
2. BOOK TABLE (preparing for my classes that have been coming up every two weeks even though I should only have 1 class a month.)
3. JONAH (had an echo and I had been consumed with the stress of knowing what the turn out was going to be. They thought that his heart was growing. It turns out that everything looks great. So we are going back in six months and then we will be able to go yearly to the Cardiologist. Wahoo what a relief.)
4. FAITH (ballet practice and her recital which turned out to be darling and so cute I will have to put pics of that.)
5. NO NAPS (did I happen to mention that already)
6. RAIN ( I swear it needs to stop so that I can plant all my flowers that need to be planted because I bought them about 1 week ago and they need the ground.)
7. GREG (He has been working out of town more often or coming home later for work then for sure you get nothing done. You know what I mean. Also he has camp coming up for the priests and who knows what else. He seems to be always busy.)
8. INTERNET (we finally got someone in the ward to come over and help us with our wireless Internet to get it working and he was fantastic at that.)
9. MANDI (is there ever anytime for your self. It doesn't ever seem like it especially when you need a break.)
10.BIRTHDAY (Faith turned 4 and she wanted a new room and a big bed for her birthday. So we redid here room with a Cinderella bed as she calls it. It turned out so cute I will also have to put pictures up of that.)
Well those are some things that have been keeping us busy. I am sure all of your lives are like that also. It is never ending but the good thing is we all have time for our families. I love my family. Even though at times you need a break.

Two Teeth

Jonah just got his first two teeth. I think they are to cute. He was getting them all through the holidays which didn't make it especially fun. But they are here now Wahoo!
He is doing great except for this week he had the stomach flu and Greg was out of town. It was not fun and no sleep. But we are on with a new week YEH!

Sunbeams Already!!

Faith went to sunbeams today (no more nursery wahoo). I can't believe that she is old enough to go to primary. She was excited they gave her a CTR ring and made a crown that said Choose the right. Her teachers are Brother and Sister Harris. They are cute and will be great.
Time goes by way to fast.

Bob the Snowman

Faith wanted to build a snowman forever and finally Greg went out and helped her make her snowman. I think Greg got carried away with the size. Faith decided that his name was BOB.

After all there hard work (Greg's work) the next morning we awoke and found that Bob had been knocked over by some not very nice boys. Faith was not happy and cried.

Our Christmas Season of 2009

This post is a little backwards.
Jonah in his new hat the Johnson's gave him. He is growing up to fast.
Faith is holding a store that goes along with her house that she got last year.
She loves it and plays with it all the time.

Faith has a black nose if you notice this was on Christmas Eve at breakfast with the Johnson family. Santa's elves always come and count the night before to make sure everyone is accounted for in the house. She did not want to wash it off.

The Johnson clan at temple square seeing the lights. It was chilly but we had a fun time. The Girls and children rode the front runner to SLC from ogden and the met the boys for dinner and went to see the lights. Merry Christmas
